Rosenstein will do whatever is needed to impede or sabotage Whitaker’s efforts.
It could be another of Trump’s chess moves. No one understands how he thinks, no matter how many times they discuss it.
My guess as that he has let Mueller run rampant, get so sure that he cant’t be touched and therefore most likely to make a bad mistake. At that point, hang Mueller high.
Certainly Mueller believes that he is the right hand of God. The FBI raid, the demand for all Sean Spicer’s notes. etc., shows Mueller believes his powers are infinite.
That mindset usually leads to downfall.
In short, Trump may have set Mueller up by giving him the rope to hang himself.
I hope so.
I think that the Huffington Post is a POS commie propaganda rag.
If you were AG and wanted to convict people--not just arrest them or put on a show --
Would you make it public?
Thanks for the post and information on the Sessions accomplishments in the Trump administration.
Ask McConnell why confirmations are taking so long in the Senate. Mueller, up and running with 17 D lawyer helpers,in 30 days, no confirmations needed. Obama, when confirmations got tough, even in a D congress, he appointed Czars accountable to no one.
Sessions is law and order, no matter how much the D's break or skirt laws, we can be assured Sessions will not.
COULD BE?????
Time will tell. So far, very unimpressive.
That is encouraging commentary, my worry is that Sessions could be the guy who wins all the battles but loses the war.
Sessions was a good AG and senator. He always stayed in trouble with the rino senators about illegal immigration. I think that is his main driving force, what he wants to accomplish beyond anything else. He has always seemed to be a man of courage. He took down the Klan here in Alabama. He has always been quiet and I pray he has not lost heart. He is NOT a swamp creature.
Observably false — Sessions voted 'yea' on the literal Treason that was the Iran Deal.
>Republicans talk a lot....and do very little.
Oh, I disagree.
(R) talk a lot and allow the (D) to do quite a bit of damage every year.
The ‘conservatives’ and the (R) base do very little (just look at the Session apologists here, the knee-pad brigade, and those pushing the sh!t sandwich of O’Care repeal [’cuz 1/2 sandwich is Ummmm, ummm better than nothing]).
Something like ‘The Bucks Stops Here’??
He’s not doing his job, then FIRE his ass and get in someone willing to FOLLOW THE LAW and PROSECUTE THE LAWBREAKERS.
Is there a point where this group “gets it”! I have been back and forth with several Freepers. That is why I posted this and have remained nuetral in this thread. What am I missing? What has to happen for this guy to do his job
Unless Sessions comes up with Sealed Indictments from a few months ago, he hasn’t done anything. If he does I offer my apologies for doubting him.
Sessions will never do his job
— he is utterly and completely compromised, as he voted yea on the Iran Deal, publicly and openly committing Treason… along with 97 other Senate members and the then President who signed it into 'law'. I suspect that this is also tied to the Clinton Foundation and its pay-to-play/influence-peddling and a major reason why Hillary will never be investigated [esp. WRT the e-mail]: to do any sort of real investigation would lead to the Clinton Foundation, which would expose ties to the Senate, HOR, and high-up bureaucrats. (Remember Hillary saying if he gets elected we all hang
?)
