I’m trying to find out if Philip Mudd is related to Samuel Mudd, the doctor who was imprisoned for conspiring with John Wilkes Booth after Lincoln’s assassination. Former newsman Roger Mudd (still alive at 89) is known to an indirect relation to Dr. Samuel.
Why do I care if Philip Mudd is related to Dr. Samuel Mudd?
