They’ll show up anyway. Airbnb has been revoking the licsenses of people who rented rooms to the attendees. The Marxists harassed the insurance company providing the Unite people their coverage until they cancelled it. These are the tactics of the left.
Fourth sentence of Richard Spencer's Wikipedia page: "He has advocated for a white homeland for a "dispossessed white race" and called for "peaceful ethnic cleansing" to halt the "deconstruction" of European culture."
Sorry guys, the "right" doesn't need to "unite" with your ilk. They need to repudiate it.
Under the doctrine of Freedom of Association, I can't particularly fault some companies for not wanting to have anything to do with accommodating such groups.
I maintain that it's significantly different than, say, marginalizing half the population with such practices.
These guys are perfectly justified in filing lawsuits, etc. if they feel their Rights have been infringed...
Why are you talking about Richard Spencer and why would believe anything Wikipedia says about him (or anyone else for that matter)?
It’s an example of the leftist totalitarian big lie.
Richard Spencer is a socialist whose band of freaks think that playing as Neo-Nazis is compatible with American conservatism.
I really wish these rallies will STOP inviting that bastard and his group.
We have enough problems dealing with the fake charges from the left of being what these guys WANT to be!
Apparently SPLC is the go to source for all info about Richard Bertrand and no one is interested in doing their own research.
I trust SPLC about as much as I trust Hillary.
I would recommend you start at Critical Thinking 101.
As an aside, this is why we lose so often.
That was the point. Like Westboro Baptist, their plan was to get booted so they could sue.
“Richard Spencer is a socialist whose band of freaks think that playing as Neo-Nazis is compatible with American conservatism.”
I think you just wrote Spencer’s complete biography from start to finish.
Well, the authorities could screw up those nasty white people’s plans to sue for being denied the right to exist on our terms and not boot them.
I'm talking about him because he is scheduled to speak at the rally which is the topic of this post.
And his quote that I noted—which clearly identifies him as a white supremacist—is well-attributed in many other places besides Wikipedia.
As for your disparagement of Wikipedia: it's a widely-used reference source, and—while it may not be perfect—it's certainly adequate for most purposes. Would you like to point me to some superior source where there is "better" information about Richard Spencer?
You see—by his own words—Richard Spencer is a God d-mn racist, and I, for one, wouldn't want to be anywhere near any white nationalist rally—especially one in which he was scheduled to spew his divisive racial hatred...
"Our dream is a new society, an ethno-state that would be a gathering point for all Europeans. It would be a new society based on very different ideals than, say, the Declaration of Independence." Richard Spencer, quoted in Vice, October 2013
This country does belong to white people, culturally, politically, socially, everything. We defined what America is." speech at Texas A&M, December 2016
In thinking about immigration and migration, I could not care less whether someone filled out the paperwork correctly or passed a civics exam. I oppose the immigration of an African who waits his turn and genuinely wants to be an American; conversely, I would gladly accept thousands of Swedish boat people who wash up on the shores. Radix Journal blog post, November 2015Garbage.
I started "critical thinking" a very long time ago. The fact that it doesn't comport with your version of "critical thinking" is utterly irrelevant. Don't be so conceited...
The Left loves you, because they can get you to think what they want you to think. Let me guess, you hate Bannon and Milo because they are the alt-right?
But more important as well as factual — this is why we so often lose.
Guess again. Alt-right is a label that menas different things to different people. I don't care about that label.
Richard Spencer's hateful quotes, on the other hand, speak for themselves.
Milo and Steve Bannon's sentiments do not resemble those of Richard Spencer in any way, shape, or form.
So you're the one who apparently needs to take "Critical Thinking 101" if you don't realize that fact, and your feeble attempt to conflate the beliefs of decent folk like Steve Bannon and Milo with a delusional hater like Richard Spencer are the veritable epitome of naiveté.
I did try to find something however most any source I came upon was quoting the Southern Poverty Law Center which is less than a reliable source.
Richard Spencer is a lot of things and that list begins with his being a PoS.
The one thing he is not is a conservative.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day...
Their right of free speech is not being denied.
