She has a pretty impressive science backround according to wiki:

Born in London, England,[2] Amanpour was raised in Tehran. Her father, Mahmoud Amanpour, is a Muslim from Iran; her mother, Patricia Hill, is a Christian from England.[3][4] She is fluent in English and Persian.

After completing the larger part of her elementary education in Iran, she was sent by her parents to boarding school in England when she was 11. She attended Holy Cross Convent, an all-girls school located in Chalfont St. Peter, Buckinghamshire, and then, at age 16, New Hall School, in Chelmsford, Essex. Christiane and her family returned to England not long after the Islamic Revolution began. She has stressed that they were not forced to leave the country, but were actually returning to England due to the Iran–Iraq War. The family ultimately remained in England, finding it difficult to return to Iran.[5]

After leaving New Hall, Amanpour moved to the United States to study journalism at the University of Rhode Island’s Harrington School of Communication and Media. During her time there, she worked in the news department at WBRU-FM in Providence, Rhode Island. She also worked for NBC affiliate WJAR in Providence, Rhode Island, as an electronic graphics designer.[6] In 1983, Amanpour graduated from the university summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa[7] with a B.A. degree in journalism.[

Not.

It is ironic, and perhaps projection, that she claims it is the people questioning the conjecture (it is not even a ‘theory’ yet) of ‘global warming’ that are un-scientific.
-To not provide a provable verification of data and experimentation of global warming is in fact the side that is un-scientific, and to just claim ‘it is decided, discussion over, so shut up’ are the dogmatic close minded people who also claimed the world was flat just because crown and church claimed it.

Even admitting that their is a sun in our solar system that could possibly have manipulative effects on the climate of the earth is anathema.

She will be re-educated.

When you’re dining on Wagyu steak and Chilean Sea Bass you need the appropriate vehicle.

I bet the guy who is importing the steak and seafood is making a bundle. Transportation costs to Mars are a bugger, though. It sure will be great when that Tesla Company guy gets his Star Treck type teletransporter up and running. Then they can just beam it up.

They can’t grow beef and fish on Mars?

Well.....you’ve got me flatfooted there. I just assumed they didn’t. I thought the only thing on Mars was candy bars. I’ll have to dig a little deeper.
