You are crazy. This is a huge mountain. If you think that this firing isn’t going to be news for the rest of Trump’s time in office I don’t know what your smoking. This is so big. And Trump had better have a really good reason for it or he will lose several senators. I cannot understand why Trump did it. And I do not believe for one minute that the resignation letter was complete and truthful.
I am a big supporter of Trump. But I am going to guess that he will pay big for this decision. It looks horrible from almost every point of view. My bet is that Trump just bought himself a special prosecutor. The Senate, including 12 republicans will vote for one.

Although prominent and well-paid to explain political people and events, Krauthammer does not quite get Trump or even understand why he won the GOP nomination and the general election. Over time, as Trump’s successes accumulate, Krauthammer will warm to him.
