Pretty straight up clips - one of a guy's open skull and brains laying on the ground because he used his shotgun as a walking stick - barrel up. There were many graphic examples as to why one needed to adhere to all aspects of gun safety and they made an impression.
I’ve seen most of these clips. If nothing else, they’re an object lesson in what not to do.

Cue the gun “safety” training from “the only one in this room, that I know of, professional enough to carry this Glock 40”:

LOL, that video just never gets old, does it?
Ah yes, the firearm version of “Wheels of Tragedy”.
People ever allowed to....Hmmm, this is a strange wording.
A reaponsible gun owner should be capable of knowing to allow himself to have a gun or not. If not that, the allowimg of reckless thoughts is more worrisome than gettimg a gun, because a person with reckless pr evil intent will fimd a way
Old youtube vids. Just search “stupid people with guns” or some such. Many are obviously staged.
It is a classic. I like this one too - A cop carrying a box of donuts shows off his Glock to a girl in the elevator.

[Note: I am not anti-Glock. I love my Glocks, and it’s my go-to home-defense weapon. I just am well aware that sloppy handling of another handgun might lead to an oopsie. With Glock, that’s “will lead to an oopsie”, not “might”. ]
No, I’m crushed, I always thought it was the funniest thing...another reason to hate Hollywood, haha...
While meant to show examples of what NOT to do with a firearm, I personally believe that gun safety should be a MANDATORY class taught to ALL school children and in some cases adults as well.
Why anyone is still in the classroom after that douche shot himself is beyond me. Looks like there was ONE parent that finally scooped up their kid and was leaving the room.
~95% of the people who go to my club range are sensibly cautious with firearms like myself. There always is that oblivious 2-5%. They can do incredible damage in a heartbeat. I call them out when I see them acting like that and hopefully shame them into better behavior. But one can’t fix stupid.
Have handled in a non range setting a number of glocks. Never fired one. Not crazy about the look or feel. But whatever floats your boat and keeps the goblins away.
I carry and keep loaded at home my 1911 A1 Remington Rand(1943 bone stock US military ) in condition 2. I find it to be safer than cocked and locked and just as easy to cock a hammer as to snick off a safety. No real potential oopsies till it’s cocked.
My first choice for home defense is my 1911, which I love because:
(1) It seems to automatically aim itself. When I point my arm, the sights line up on the bulls eye. I fire at least 50 rounds a week from the 1911, usually far more, and it’s been months since I fired a shot didn’t hit the black, even shooting rapid fire. It’s a great weapon for shooting paper (or anything else).
(2) I have no concerns about stopping power. If a .45 doesn’t stop the threat, no handgun I’m willing to fire will do the job either.
I have spare magazines for the 1911, but I have no intention of reloading if 8 rounds of .45 auto are not enough for home defense. After eight shots, I’m switching to the Glock so I don’t have to count shots. I have spare magazines for the Glock too, but if the first 33 rounds of 9 mm don’t do the job, I’m either asleep and having a nightmare in Afghanistan, or awake and facing a zombie horde or a political speech in Berkeley.
Or “Red Asphalt”...
