There is no labor shortage. There is a labor glut brought on by illegal border crossings and bad trade deals.
Once that begins to correct under the current administration the demand for labor will go up. This will drive up wages (to something livable) and US citizens will reenter the work force. The welfare drain will slow, and taxes will be reduced - even while total tax revenues skyrocket.
MAGA.

I would really like to see a robot realize he has run out of nails and make a quick dash to Home Depot.

But to address the actual article - factory made house make more economic sense than custom built in most cases.

What labor shortage? We have plenty of unemployed engineers in Texas and the numbers are growing.

The robots do not come to work with a hangover, the robots do not come with the cost of Obamacare and the robots do not join the union.

95 million people who are not working and should be, and these dummies say there is a labor shortage. Time for a reality check.

“There is no labor shortage. There is a labor glut brought on by illegal border crossings and bad trade deals.”
Absolutely right.
And these trends are finally heading in the right direction.

Probably would end up being closer to an online order and drone delivery, if we’re looking at possibilities.

Blueprint are actually helping to ease a labor shortage that has crimped construction of residences and commercial properties across the country. For a country whit a "labor shortage" it sure is odd that wages have been flat for decades.

Yarborough said shes not interested in learning more about traditional construction. Before joining Blueprint, she took a free, six-month course on computer numerical control machines, available only to unemployed or low-income adults.
Any comments?

Custom built homes increase in value, a manufactured home decreases in value each year when a person can get new model each year. It is more like a car.
