If I was in the same situation as this guy...for as long as he's been in it...I'd be angry,angry,disgusted,contemptful,contrary...just plain nauseating in every possible way.But I'd be smart enough to try to disguise it as best I could for several reasons,one being that the better I disguise my basic contempt for the world the better care/assistance I'd get in accomplishing basic tasks...eating...bathing...bathroom,etc.
I truly believe that that's what this guy's doing and,as a result,his opinions mean less than nothing to me.

He was especially critical of the appointment of Scott Pruitt, "a man who does not believe that carbon dioxide causes climate change," as head of the Environmental Protection Agency. It doesn't.
There's no correlation in the way they claim.
