I think Sessions said IF NECESSARY.
Hussein is NOT a Russian and it will not be necessary for Att Gen'l Sessions to stand on the sidelines.
I am sure the DOJ has lawyers working this weekend putting the final touches on indictments. Wiretapes turned down by court mean it was very, very illegal. Like Watergate, they will START with the peons and work up to the pawns before getting the royalty.
Even Hussein is SHOCKED that Conspiracy Theorist Donald Trump would accuse Martin Luther Obama of something so low.
This all reminds me of House of Cards. Secret state where everyone is dirty and bribed. President Trump must be clean or they would have already gotten to him!
From what I have read:
The FISA court authorized this wiretap.
The real question is what reason was given to the court to obtain the wiretap and when. Before the election? After?
Keep in mind, there was almost no chance given for Trump to win.
We need a timeline on this.
Remember Dem Senator Schiff’s pale look after last week’s Comey briefing? Remember Gowdey’s comments about being careful with leaked information?
Drudge has it as Headline...
Trump towers Bugged!
That our Ex-president is a criminal is a surprise to no one. That he attempted to place a boot on the neck of the Big Man on campus is of no surprise, either. That he was caught doing so — NOW THAT IS THE ONLY SURPRISE! The SOS belongs in the litter box.
One point of the FISA court is to be a sop to idiots who think the government follows the law and gets warrants. Another point of the FISA court is to allow minimal court oversight on the front end, and still have evidence that can be used in a criminal prosecution. The only time "warrantless" ever becomes an issue is in a criminal prosecution.
The FISA law says there is a civil penalty against the government if it snoops without a warrant, but a collection of cases a few years back showed that law to be totally toothless. If the government says "state secret," the civil claim for big bucks damages dies.
New York is not DC and it is illegal to tap the phones of your political rivals for any reason. (hat tip Jim from C-Town)
That's one to savor over and over. Thanks, Jim. As I always say....even the smartest crooks make an error. Sometimes that smallest error trips them up.

(HAT TIP ROME2000)--- All Trump has to do is declare a State of Emergency, round up blue lipped Kenyan and a couple hundred of his appointees still lurking in positions of power, and suspend Habeas Corpus until things get figured out.
Stunning, isn’t it.
Great connection. I agree.
Occams Razor Did NSA Admiral Mike Rogers Warn Trump On November 17th, 2016?

"Legal" or not, the tapping of a Presidential candidate by the USG during an election by a sitting President of the opposition party who was actively supporting the Dem candidate is very disturbing. And was that information shared with Hillary. Given her emphasis on the Trump Russian connections during the election campaign debates, it appears that was the case.
The best defense is a good offense.
Didn’t the Trump tweet say no court order?
It’s tie you realized what kind of people you are dealing with Donald. Time to take off the kid gloves mister president.
“It is necessary for Trump to mobilize the full power of the federal government on this issue and not to squander the momentum with erratic tweets.”
There’s the rub... He isn’t being allowed the “full power of the federal government” yet, precisely because this whole ordeal is designed to keep the previous regime in power from behind the scenes.
Absolutely.
I want to hear that lying weasel try to justify what happened to Trump.
I have a long memory.
“it might have been much smarter to spend 48 hours consulting with the Department of Justice”
Who says he hasn’t done that? The 5AM tweets sent the press hounds knocking on the doors of all involved first thing in the morning.
They woke up in the middle of the sh1tstorm and are scrambling to respond. Hopefully their are all under surveillance. So far nobody has denied anything.
It certainly explains a lot of the leaks. I'm with you, I think he's known about this for a while, given some of his previous statements and facial expressions concerning the leaks.
