As far as I can tell, I'm not having problems with other pages loading. For now, I'm using Firefox.

Microsoft Edge words fine. Absolutely no problems.

BTW, try clearing your browser cache and temporary files.

Just tried Brave. Seems to work fine. And if this posts, that’s further evidence.

Relog using the beeber chipset. Use the “hirvi juusto” server settings.
Let me know how it turns out; I’m headed for the showers.

I’ve noticed that the main page (freerepublic.com/tag/*/index) is a bit slow to load. There will be the first five or six lines of text, but the rest of the page is blank for maybe ten seconds. This started happening back when the last outage occurred. No other site does this so it isn’t the computer.

I used to do this in the past, but I’m having a senior moment and can’t remember how. Can you refresh my failing memory here?

Took me a while to figure out where that was hiding in the Brave browser. Didn’t seem to help. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Heat’s off. The light bulb just came on and I remembered how to clear the browser. Thanks anyway.

The same happens when clicking on a link to a thread.

Re: “BTW, try clearing your browser cache and temporary files...”
That worked for me a few weeks ago when Drudge came back online after a Denial of Service attack.
I use Edge, and everything on my computer worked fine, except Drudge. I cleared my browser cache, and, poof, no more Drudge problems.
Since I switched to Windows 10, I try very hard not to clear my Browser (Edge) because that action wipes out all my pre-set passwords and screen names, and makes my computer unrecognizable to my Bank and other websites, which is a serious time consuming headache.
But it's worth a try if you miss Drudge as much as I do.
To: PAR35; yuleeyahoo
Okay. Something is goofy with my computer then. Thanks for letting me know you were having no problems.

Using Chrome. For the last month many pages will load the first 10-20 lines and then hang. Reloading sometimes fixes. It’s getting annoying.

Using Brave on a iPad, OSX10.2. No problems.
Brave is my goto browser now. I wouldn’t try Drudge or Brietbart without it.

That issue preceded the weekend shutdown, I believe.
Not sure what is going on, but that is not a new issue.
