The CDC disagrees with you:

<<< HCV is not efficiently transmitted through sex (170, 223).>>>

And I said it is possible but very uncommon. HCV is not found in sexual fluids. The risk of sexual transmission of HCV is because of microscopic tears in the skin that allow blood to blood contact. Since most sex involves friction, these microscopic tears are not an impossibility. You said that Hep C is spread by pedophiles. Bit of a stretch there.

I don’t dispute that people with any thyroid disease have more stress on their immune systems. I do, however, completely disagree with your comment that removal of thryoid is a cure for a virus since the virus needs metabolism. BS.....your thyroid is not the only part of your body that’s involved in metabolism. In fact, by your logic, removing your BRAIN would also cure a virus.

Please check your sources.....and feel free to PM me if you need MY sources. :)

There is a treatment that can cure hepatitis C that’s been available for a while now. It’s like chemotherapy. My mother tried it but she couldn’t tolerate it and had to stop.

Please feel free to contact me via PM if I can help you/your mom at all.

The newer meds are NOTHING like the previous interferon/ribarvarin based treatments (which some people do equate to chemotherapy...similar mechanism of action)..... Even someone who couldn’t tolerate the treatments that were common a few years ago can often generally do very well with the new medications. They couldn’t be any more different than the older treatments. :)
