Fake News is the latest reincarnation of Fact Checking. It is the media’s attempt to label themselves as the only legitimate sources of news. (Yes, that’s the media with the all-time lowest levels of trust).
Fake news vs. Pravda. Some choice.
It’s time to learn or re-learn Morse code.
Pretty soon we will be propped up on ‘non-fake’ news live in a sorry attempt to legitimize them.
Communication of the truth will be by eye-blinking the code to the viewers.
Yep.
- Cheated at the debates, probably all of them
- Obama signaled illegals voting wouldn’t be prosecuted
- Control of information failed
- Lying to everyone was exposed
- Not enough dead voters
- Media bias actually hurt them, they exposed themselves
- The usual smears were perceived as “crying wolf” - heard it all before, not convincing
...all of it - and the STILL failed. I can only imagine what the vote would be if none of it existed.
Exactly. I laugh at “fact checkers” - it’s amazing how many are gullible enough to point to them as though they’re a source of “truth” outside of the media....it’s just MORE media in different clothing.
Now we get the media to tell us who is “fake” and who is not, ooookaaaay.
So-called "fake news" per the left's working definition is basically any source of information that does not conform to their agenda and message. They want all their sheeple behaving and getting their "news" edited/spun/packaged and then spoon fed to them from approved sources.
And because she phoned it in. She hardly campaigned at all.

It’s a meme a day with the left (or sometimes 2 or more memes a day).
On thing they all have in common is promoting victim culture.
One person’s ‘fake news’ is another person’s opinion.
They want to eradicate all opposing opinions.
They are not talking about facts that can be verified or authenticated, but rather “narratives” that they don’t like ... while pushing their own “narratives”.
For example with fake “hate crimes”. Those reported to the police, most of them can be verified ... either they are found to someone threatening or hurting someone else, or more times than not it turns out to be a hoax perpetrated by the ‘victim’ on his or her self. Either way, a 3rd party can in most cases get to the truth.
But most of the “hate crimes” the media is promoting are hearsay of the variety: My boyfriend’s sister’s roommate said someone in a Trump hat drove by and called her a name.
That can’t be verified and we would not want to use up valuable police time trying to track that down. It’s probably fake but even if not, calling someone a name is not a crime of any sort.
Now the media is proclaiming a WAVE OF HATE CRIMES ... by which they mean ones that have proven to be hoaxes or are the of the hearsay variety above. By reporting this as a trend, they are inventing fake news to suit their narrative.
What they are really wailing about is that people are now ignoring their crying wolf in the media for so many years.
It has backfired on them. Their precious media has been exposed resting on a bedrock of fake stories or made up ‘narratives’ that reporters have to hue to.
Of course, right leaning news sources do their own propaganda as well. But the left only sees that and not the propaganda on its own side.
