That said, if Lester Holt is too stupid to do a debate without a democrat operative on the other end of his ear piece TELLING HIM WHAT TO SAY then he damn sure should NOT be a ‘token’...
Shame on him - shame on NBC. NEXT TIME NBC put the operative IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA AND THE PUPPET IN THE AUDIENCE.... Let’s make a small effort to be honest NBC. By the way does anyone know who was pulling the strings of the puppet? Chuck Todd? Bill Clinton? What Trump hater was behind the screen?

I'm skeptical. There's too much that could go wrong with something like this. One leak, one suspicious meeting and the story is public.
Given a choice between conspiracy on the one hand and shared self-interest and world view on the other, the latter is much more likely.
Holt works at NBC and lives in Manhattan. He's pre-programmed to take Hillary's side. He may not even be aware of it himself.
