If Glass-Steagall gets re-enacted they may be making a lot less billions.

Trump is a private citizen (i.e., non-state official/politician) who is running for federal office—Ergo, the restrictions don’t apply to him.

This will be so easy for Trump to turn it to his advantage.

I think the Trump Foundation got hit with a ‘pay to play’ fine sometime back.

He’s better off without their money. It will look better when he takes them down. Course then the knock will be he is attacking them because they refused to donate.

President Trump needs to totally separate oldman from the government. That won’t be easy since most if not all government financial and economic honchos were obtained from Goldman Sachs.

Clintoon is BIG money’s little princess. I can’t believe “the poor” and “trodden down” still insist on voting for the rich b*tch. She doesn’t care about them. All she cares about is her bank account. She’s a crook.

Maybe, and on paper she’s relatively far down the totem pole. But in almost any organization the official employee chart almost never reflects who welds the real influence.

I’ve seen many times that some of those lowest on the chart happen to connect with the top dogs on a personal level and for reasons only they understand, these high level people will allow themselves to be influenced by (for example) the boy in the mail room, or the low level secretary.

I could be wrong, but I think Heidi is a managing partner, which means she’s got quite a bit on the ball (so to speak). She had what it takes to get that position; there’s a real possibility she had an inordinate amount of influence with those higher up than her - the Partner-in-Charge, for example.

But you are right - I’m not part of Goldman Sachs so I don’t know.

They must have studied under that stupid Melissa Clark, the Mizzou journalism prof who never knew about the freedom of the press. These guys have never heard of freedom of speech or freedom of association.

Wrong, ye defender of Golden Sacks.

" The email also says that the rule applies to any "governor running for president or vice president, such as the Trump/Pence ticket." Vice presidential candidate Mike Pence is the governor of Indiana. Donations to Trump and Pence's PACs or Super PACs will also not be allowed.
"However, the new guidelines don't prohibit Goldman's top brass from donating to Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine. Kaine is a U.S. senator and Clinton doesn't hold any current office. "

In 2005, she went to work for Goldman Sachs as a private wealth manager.[22] After serving at Goldman Sachs for seven years, Cruz was promoted in 2013 to regional head of the Southwest United States for the Investment Management Division in Houston.[4][14][23][24]

Okay. My point is that she is far from lazy and stupid, and it sounds like you would agree.

I know how it is with outfits like Goldman Sachs - you either make real and measurable contributions to the company year after year after year, or you’re out on the street.

Obviously Heidi Cruz has a lot going for her.
