Many, or even most of them are not elected, but are hired by the party for leadership, administrative, and consultant reasons. As head of the party, Trump could indeed cut them off at the knees.
Not only that, but he could forbid the party from dealing with their enablers such as consulting firms, law partnerships, and corporate employers. Make it clear that any business must be done through ‘clean’ organizations, that have no connection with these runts.
As far as the elected ones goes, while they could still deal with the blacklisted individuals, they would not only have to do so on their own dime, no party funds, but doing so would also mean the party did not need to give them money to help with their re-election, and might even give money to their primary opponents.
Importantly, some of this is happens right now. Traditionally it was called “party discipline”, and both parties have long done it.
I’m not a never Trumper, but the IQ over the Federalist is certainly a bit higher.
Then go there and be with the people who are as “smart” as you...Just stay away from us “uneducated unwashed masses”...
