    Of course!
And if you’ve never read The Phantom Major, about Sir David Stirling and the formation of the SAS in the North African desert in WWII, you should do so. Their exploits in raiding German airbases and behind-the-lines logistics facilities were the real life Rat Patrol.

I spent the better part of 8 years in the ARNG in a Battalion Scout Platoon, running patrols in the M152 jeep.
