And I find no joy in that, because if he is our nominee, I fear we will all go down in flames into a Hitlery/Bernie socialistic abyss.

Trump talks about "MAKING AMERICAN GREAT AGAIN" and having EVERYONE having a good, prosperous life, through hard work. His speeches are every bit as "UPLIFTING" as Reagan's primary speeches were.
You know whose speeches are complete downers and boring? TED CRUZ'S memorized, parroting ones.
You obviously have NO memory, none at all, of how Reagan reacted to G.H.W. Bush and the "VOODOO ECONOMIC" retort, nor his "I PAID FOR THIS MICROPHONE" outburst...for but two examples.
Reagan was NOT a "HOLY ROLLER", he NEVER "PREACHED AT" people, pretended to be better than everyone else, byh being a nasty back stabber, who palled around with nut jobs, as Cruz does.
As a CANDIDATE, Reagan left religion out of it all!
