John Bachelor out of NYC. Anti-Trump, but his foreign affairs and especially his military work is spot on. Best book reviews/author interviews this side of the Atlantic.

He was my favorite as well. He used to have a Sunday night show that I listened to on the car radio, but he left the airwaves out here several years ago. He also had the best theme song: Midnight, the Stars and You by Ray Noble & His Orchestra, from 1934.

I also feel John and Ken don’t let you down much. They get some things kind of wrong and we disagree on some things, but they always see the political corruption and they stay true to themselves.

John loves Trump because he is for actual borders, for safety against Muslim terror, and doesn’t let PC rule his every move.

They don’t build themselves up arrogantly. They laugh at themselves. They are consistently funny.

Also, they (especially John) are AMAZING interviewers. They interview people rarely, and local pols wet their pants at the thought of going on air with them. They do NOT slip on the follow ups. As misanthropic as John can so steps be, he is brilliant and he does not let them get away with nonsense talk, he calls them on it 100% of the time. Meg Whitman has still not recovered from their little chat years ago. They are not mean or brusque. They just don’t allow doublespeak, spin, or brush offs.

Since the candidates will be coming to CA in a meaningful way for once, the guys will get the opportunity to interview some of them. It will be a treat.

Rush runs with the big dogs. He is able to gain information and insight because they trust him to not be a big mouthed buffoon. How do you know he lied? do you have insider information that the rest of us don’t? How about you share some of it so we can see for ourselves how dishonest he is?

I think you were stunned and still hurting because he had good things to say about Cruz and wouldn’t endorse Trump. Try to get over it, the world goes on.

Lou Dobbs.
Solid Trump supporter.

Dobbs is a very smart and very sensible person. That he endorsed Trump is significant, very significant.

Excellent points. Rush obviously admires in Trump his skills as a showman/entertainer, capable of taking on the Democrats and the media simultaneously in the general. He just as clearly does not have the same confidence in Cruz. Rush makes the point all the time, if one listens carefully, that Trump may be the only way to defeat the dems and rino forces and save the country. He constantly tells Cruz supporters that Trump is not about policy—as they know it—but about a new set of policies and approaches. He is subtly moving beyond nostalgic conservatism, just as Trump is; but, Rush certainly knows what it takes to bring his audience along. That is why he has been at the top of his profession so long.

no not lately...rush is sutlely playing his establishment hand...leaving it to the “caller” who lately all seem to have something negative to say about Trump...the only ones that can get through and then rush just stops talking and lets them mouth off...and then says...”well you certainly have a good point”...bullshit they are planned callers...Hannity and Laura!! and Savage...unfortunately!

Andrew Wilkow is another host that I like, but he's up against Rush. I also like Larry Elder, the witty Sage of South Central Los Angeles, even though his views are somewhat more libertarian than mine.

Rush has his handlers, too.

I lost all respect for Rush when he refused to cover Obama’s eligibility, his phony birth documents, his fake social security number, Obama’s own admission on a book jacket that he was born in Kenya, and very unlikely attendance at Columbia. ( Just to name a few.) I will NEVER forget!

It's simple!

When true tyranny comes Rush will sell his talents to the fascist oligarchy and lick the jack boots crushing our necks. In fact he is probably doing that now.

Rush told us many times that he had been pressured by RINOs to support amnesty.

What has been turning me off is his need to tell us who he "likes"-- "I like Rubio". "I like Lindsey Graham". I don't know why he feels the need to say this, but I find it very unattractive.

He mentioned an email from yet another dear friend who told him that he either needed to be honest, and that would lose him his audience.

If I could tell him something, I'd warn him that he may need to choose between his audience and the friends he "likes" so much.

She refused to cover Obama’s eligibility, fake birth documents, and fake social security number, too. After that she is completely untrustworthy.

Levin. He's consistent, doesn't care what others think and is right about 98% of the time.

Doesn't matter who the talk show host is, everybody hates them if they utter one word that's not acceptable to the purist masses............

Here's the typical response to them............

>>...leaving it to the “caller” who lately all seem to have something negative to say about Trump...<<

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I hear what you are hearing, but what I hear in Rush is that he uses such callers to make one side of the argument, and then he has leave to take the other.

At least for me, this is a sophisticated method of discourse; more convincing ultimately than those who always argue one side, forfeiting the position of fairness and objectivity.

I truly think Rush has helped Trump immensely.

I do feel that Rush has been dishonest and I was stunned, still hurting over it. I was a huge fan and just adored him. But he allowed Chuck U Schumer to wine and dine him and get him to back off on the amnesty bill, mention it less, and they were satisfied by how he dropped the subject on air after the meeting. Rush has admitted it though he dishonestly claims they were not successful.

Trump met off the record with the NY Times.
