I would take it even further. First eliminate the media and media questions. Have a neutral moderator and time keeper. State a subject area and give each participant 3 minutes to make their case on the subject, with no rebuttals. Start with lowest rated to highest for each subject. At the end 5 minutes for closing argument. If a participant goes over their allotted time for each subject, it comes off their closing time. That should slow down the blowhards like Hubio and Yeb.
Enough is enough - NO MORE DEBATES. Any that are left should be cancelled.
Indeed the MSM moderators feel they are the gate keepers thus they are in control of candidates and policies.
Yes sir, yes sir. We need his smarts and coolness under fire to correct an incredibly corrupt system shoved down our throats by a homo laden SCOTUS that cares less about why they are actually there. Another group that took oaths under false pretenses or total disregard.
I didn’t watch the debate but Carson has a valid point. No one should be humiliated by the moderators, shunned or ignored. That shows moderator bias.
It does show moderator bias.
Ben is right. The debates need a major overhaul.
Why should one or two candidates get most of the questions.
And it didn’t relate to their standing in the polls. They love to ask Kasich questions and he’s the most boring and inconsequential.
Part of the problem is too many candidates most of whom don’t make a blip in the polls.
But if you’re going to have 7 people up there at least make an effort to divide the time equally.
Also, we don’t want to hear long diatribes by Chris Wallace or Megyn Kelly. Ask questions, don’t insert accusations or your opinion.
Ben Carson has been ignored to the point of insult in the last 2 debates. I don’t blame him for being annoyed. And he actually did have some of the better comments.
They should each be asked the same questions and given X amount of time to answer..none of the rest of the crap.
