Do you think Obama's executive Dreamer amnesty for children may have something to do with the flood of unaccompanied children? Why is Mexico allowing them to transit their country? When you reward something, you get more of it. And who pays for it? The US taxpayer.
Unaccompanied minors are crossing the U.S. Southwest border in growing numbers again, sparking concerns that the new influx of children could eventually approach the levels that last year prompted the Obama administration to declare a humanitarian crisis.
In October and November, more than 10,500 children crossed the U.S.-Mexico border by themselves, the vast majority from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, according to U.S. government data analyzed by the Migration Policy Institute, a nonpartisan think tank. Thatâs a 106 percent increase over the same period last year, reflecting a steady increase that began in March.
âThis sharp increase in children entering this country is a result of many factors,â HHS Secretary Sylvia Burwell wrote in a letter last week to the House appropriations committee. âWhile it is impossible to know if these trends will continue for the duration of the fiscal year, we are very concerned about having adequate resources to meet the needs of the unaccompanied children.â The letter urged lawmakers, who are negotiating final details of a year-end spending deal, to grant President Obamaâs request for a contingency fund of up to $400 million if the numbers of children continue to grow, beyond the nearly $950 million already requested for the unaccompanied minors program.
Who paid for housing these “kids”? (Btw, most pics we’ve seen show these ‘children’ to be older teens, mostly male.)
They’ve been staying at area camp resorts, compliments of you and I.
Catholic Charities and Baptist Child & Family Services were bankrolled, once again by you and I, to prepare for these ‘children’.
Here’s more info.....
So, he specifically mentions that the suffering is being caused by our policies - that let all the illegals across the border) and says we need to work to change these policies, and some yo-yos with poop for brains read that as supporting the illegal invasion.
He didn't have the power to send them packing so he did the Christian thing and tried to ease the suffering.
You must be something else to live with or be around....
You do what you can to trash Cruz, do you actually donate to Trump? How about to FR?
Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate as the next President.
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other who enjoys the fruits of others' work for your own benefit.
PS - If you are one of those who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....
GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!
I actually thought they were throwing the Balls and Bears over the Border Fence into Mexico. I guess I had better go against FR tradition and read the Articles before commenting, LOL
BTW - What happened to Glenn Beck anyway? I used to listen to the guy way back when, but after he gave up his Fox Show and moved to Texas be went bonkers. He was borderline before that, but then Boom, wacko city... (Not Waco, wacko)
Suffering?
They received a great adventurous ride to the US, where they will be housed in buildings and fed with food better than they had in their lives.
Far from suffering.
And they were going to receive all this schwag at our expense, no matter if Cruz greeted them there or not.
In other words, Cruz didn't have to go there.
It bodes ill of Cruz that he did.
Cruz is a globalist in constitutionalist's clothing.
Cruz the bleeding heart.

LOL! - Spoken like someone who has made the trip and plan on doing it again for the therapeutic aspects. Oooor - like some twit who has a thought and decides it has to be true because he's the one that thought it up - illegals is bad so not even the kids endure any hardships because it's all just a fun adventure.
Make thyself useful - you like Trump so donate to him (he's fine with me as a solid alternative to Cruz) and toss a few (or few more if already donating) bucks to FR while your at it...

Donald Trump Had A Meeting With DREAMers And Said "You Convinced Me" On Immigration
On an August day two years ago [2013], Donald Trump was in a much different place: He was just a billionaire with the simple goal of connecting his beauty pageant business with the upcoming Hispanic Heritage Awards.
So at his New York penthouse office atop Trump Tower, he convened a meeting.
Trump ushered in a pair of men - one to talk about the awards and a Democratic strategist who works with nonprofits - and three young DREAMer activists. The DREAMers were on a tour sharing their stories with those less likely to support them, like tea party supporters.
Trump, according to four attendees who recounted the meeting to BuzzFeed News, talked about how rich he is ("This is the best view in New York!"), the golf courses he was building around the world, and about each prospective Republican candidate ("What do you think about Jeb Bush?") and whether Latinos liked them.
"At the end of the day, what we're looking at is a value proposition for America," Tijerino said to Trump at the end of the meeting, referring to immigration legislation.
"You've convinced me," Trump said to the delight of the activists in the room.
