Have you seen Flash and the Arrow? I’m binge watching Flash on Netflix now and it turned me on to the Green Arrow with the crossover episodes.
I really liked Smallville as well...THe massive 34-years- long crush I have on John Schneider probably contributed to that. Actually got to meet him a couple weeks ago, he hugged me and I almost fainted
Probably -and black. Wouldn’t be surprised. Then after sales slump impossibly watch for the transgendering to begin. Huzzah! A *cough* “female” *cough* (Black Army) Captain America.
Bets?
I believe the title of the series is “Arrow”, not the Green Arrow. That is one of the series I have become hooked on as well. Also: The Flash, The Blacklist, 12 Monkeys, Killjoys, and Humans. Just to name a few. :)
Give them a go, why don’t you?
More or the less the same with me. I'd pick up a few series now and then (usually indie stuff) but the only "mainstream superhero" book I bought regularly in the past five years was "Batman '66." (B'66 was campy but it was still the closest thing to "real" Batman that DC still published...so, of course, it just got cancelled).
I took the money I saved on new comics and went hunting for back issues. Once I get things organized (someday) I look forward to reading and rereading some great stuff.
I'm sorry to hear that. Weren't his comics anti-Communist back in the 60s? (But of course, even liberals were anti-Communist back then.)
The pic of Stan shaking hands with Reagan hanging in his office would beg to differ, as would his business manager.
Oh the anti gun messages in his spider man comics negates his pix with Dutch Reagan
“Stan Lees politics appear to be no less nuanced. As far as political parties go, hes a supporter of the Democrats. He started contributing money to the partys candidates in 1994 when Edward Kennedy was running for the Senate.6 And shortly after the 2008 election, he said,
Being president these days is too big a job for someone with just one superpower. Though I do think Obama has a certain Mr. Fantastic quality.7
And hes got some history with a certain high-profile Democratic family. Early in the 21st century, his close ties with the Clintons, some confusing rhetoric and business dealings, and a $100,000 check got him into some trouble with the Feds. (Its too complicated to get into here, but if youre interested in learning more, this video is a good place to start.) “

I know all about Peter Paul. Not saying Stan is a rock ribbed conservative. He’s kind of pragmatic like Trump, having to do business in a particular industry, though not prone to speaking ill of people, even Obama. But his business manager, the person closest to him besides his wife, assured me he was a Republican. All that aside, not sure why even mention him in regards to this Cap story, he hasn’t had a working relationship with Marvel in years.
Stan is pretty clearly an old school, Scoop Jackson, Democrat. If you look at the old Marvel comics from the 1960s they were all about beating the communists.
But the dudes 90 years old and Jewsih so he tends to cling to the party identity that no longer reflects the modern DNC.
