When faced with an article that is void of a real topic and fails to point the reader to its true purpose, the reader has to asked several questions of the writer. We must always ask questions in order to get to the facts. This is how critical thinking actually works. If one is asking questions, he or she is thinking.

The signal benefit of FR is that it enables us to discuss articles and ask our questions among ourselves. Here, we can pool our “incredulity,” and sometimes get to the bottom of things. Imagine being Buckhead after seeing the obvious telltales that the “Texas Air National Guard Memos” were bogus - and not having any mechanism for sharing it widely.

And imagine us, falling for that con for weeks . . .

After working 2+ jobs to pay outrageous taxes, rents, gasoline, food etc., most people just do not have the stamina to attend a PTA meeting or engage in conservative activism of any kind. And don’t think Big Government is not thrilled with THAT situation!
