And Sessions also voted for CAFTA...your point?
What's your point about CAFTA?
The Donald’s bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired and will make him vulnerable to the PC-centric media, but he’s quite correct in both his intentions and principles. He’d better win the nomination because no one would choose him as a Veep.
The problem IS NOT IMMIGRATION! The problem is the invasion of this country by illegal aliens! How can we fix a problem if we cannot even identify it?
Just that you hold up Sessions as a lion of pro-American values...and he is great...
But, he did vehemently support CAFTA...not necessarily pro-American and which gave closet Amnesty to people from Central America...
Now, if there are more talented Americans for these jobs...they’d be hired. Guys from overseas who come to do the really high tech jobs won’t get them before we do...not if we have more able students.
No, I note his observation that any increase to the H-1B visa would only quash the dreams of more talented Americans, glut the labor market and keep pay low, and push more of our own homegrown best and brightest students out of work.
Guys from overseas who come to do the really high tech jobs wont get them before we do
Yes they will, because that's how H-1B is built:
H-1B Is Designed to Allow Employers to Replace Americans with Cheap Foreign Workers
H-1B Is Designed to Allow Employers to Pay Foreign Workers Extremely Low Wages
The US citizens are are qualified, just that they’re passed up for having said citizenship. Guest workers are just easier to manage with threat of deportation.
Cheaper, too.
