See? That’s why most armed guards are retired police. Retired police are covered under LEOSA and can carry anywhere, any time.

How do you expect celebrities to go to gun control rallies if they can’t have armed guards? They can’t be expected to be unarmed victims like the common riff raff.

I don't quite agree, nor do I completely disagree. There are many good cops in Baltimore, and it looks like they are not on either side until the current mess blows over. Most of the good Baltimore cops are being extremely cautious about taking any risks to enforce real laws, but most of them are not going out of their way to persecute decent people either. There are only a few, like the uniformed thug in this story, who are doing the Mayor's bidding. I don't think those isolated bad apples should be seen as representative of the mostly decent Baltimore Police Department. I'm cautious around all cops because they have so much power, but most are good people even the ones who work for a bigot.
I definitely remember the security guy shadowing Jerry while working the streets.
