I had a dear friend that was black. She used to joke about how shocked she was when she was a teen and her mother told her she was black. She was raised to get educated, work hard and stay away from men until she got married.
I long for the day when a major politician states, “White America stop feeling guilty about what other people have done, you are only responsible for what you do, and that’s enough burden for any person to bear.”
The fireworks that explode from that will be fun to watch.
