This is a wonderful piece. One of Mr. Crowder’s best.

On a side note, the well-dressed man probably didn’t know how to take a compliment. I don’t think it was anything personal. I had to work very hard to learn to simply say when given a compliment, “Thank you.”

Actually you can't if the above is an example of your ability. There is nothing in it to account for the Black dudes reaction. Try again. (For a guy with a hatred of speculation you hang around a funny forum. I guess if I look up your history I won't find any speculation.../s)
