MLM’s don’t sell products; they sell dreams. Or fantasies if you please. My sister sent me a tape of some MLM product she was using and it was complete bunk. But it was what she wanted to hear. Drinking that swill fixed her abusive marriage.
If the product has a great benefit, it’s probably because that is what you wanted. If you have a dream of being wealthy, an MLM will sell you that dream.
Pokeweed is sometimes called American nightshade, and some folks do eat it - but if you eat it wrong, it can kill you.
I think that that the young leaves in the spring are better than later in the year, ant the seeds are a lot worse than the the pulp of the berries, but I just don’t mess with it at all, and wouldn’t recommend that anyone experiment with it.

Yes, there is that. But some of the products are really good too. e.g. I use Arbonne hair treatment. It’s $25 a bottle and lasts me 18 months. I put it on after washing my hair like people use conditioner.
When I was 43 my daughters started laughing at daddy’s starting to get a bald spot. I’m 61 now and have no bald spots. It was so effective that the person who cut my hair ordered a ton of it for her other customers.
MLM is not my cup of tea, but it does get the money into the hands of “regular people”. Of course, many of them are no longer all that “regular” when they make all that money, and a lot of them do.
I still don’t do it, though. But if the stuff works, it works. And I just had a shake-up at work yesterday (in the good way) that I attribute to this EHT.
