I think there was some collusion here as well which helps to explain why such a big lie from such a prominent anchor was kept alive for so long because it turns out that none other than Tom Brokaw himself actually KNEW that Williams account was a fabrication for YEARS yet did & said nothing. This is similar to how Jian Ghomeshi was given a free ride on his behavior for so long because those in the know at the CBC simply decided to be quiet about it & thwarted attempts by those who did try to speak out against the CBC star. Tom Browkaw was as much an enabler of Williams as the CBC brass was with Ghoemshi as both personalities were considered to “big” to touch.

The Chicago group can't beat the Clinton group with no one; they have to beat her with someone. Warren is a radical, but she isn't one of them; neither is Maggie Hassan or Jeanne Shaheen. So who is waiting in the wings the way BHO did eight years ago?
