That happened decades ago, when I was in college (back in '07) we watch some old documentary about F.D.R. and it had some ancient news man on there from the '30's bragging about how they kept the knowledge of F.D.R's wheelchair a secret from the American Public for years.
It stunned me.
Bingo. It's as though every U.S. "Journalist" over the age of 45 or so interned in Cold War-era Moscow, then took over the mentoring chores after the Berlin Wall fell.
How anything short of bloody revolution can set this right, I can't discern.
