Maybe you’re a pro-choicer and against Evangelicals but that makes me more likely to vote for Perry or Walker.

Ill stick with Walker. He has accomplishments and proven abilities. No Christie or Bush....Cruz would be good but needs more time and more allies which comes in time.
Never vote for Rand Paul..never. Never listen to a word his wacked out followers say either.

From the article the WaPo linked to...
“The expected shortfall for the next two-year state budget starting in July has risen to nearly $1.8 billion, or about half of what it was when Gov. Scott Walker took office in January 2011.”
Isn’t that an improvement?!

My interest in Walker just ticked up a tad. If WaPo says he is easy for Mrs. Bill then they are afraid of him.Now kf he will get really strong and insistent on Building the Wall and throwing the illegals out, he would be my guy.

LOL! The RATS are getting nervous. With past GOP preferences, such GHW Bush (2nd term) Bob Dole, McCain and Romney, no wonder they’re concerned. Walker or Cruz could make it all the way, while old lady Clinton stumbles and falls every time she opens her yap.

Good God people, the election is 2 YEARS AWAY...Scott Walker will have to display every corpuscle in his body before them. He has destroyed the entire Democrat war machine by turning back the union thugs from Illinois and the rest of the country....He did this three times in a predominantly liberal state. He does not have a halo over his head and he must take stands on controversial issues, but let’s noy bury him while he is still breathing.....and NO, Hillary can’t beat him if Republicans get off their lazy asses and VOTE for a change.

RE:”
But in what the fundamentals suggest will be a very close race, running a more moderate Democrat in Clinton against a stridently more conservative Republican in Walker could provide that 1 percent difference.
Furthermore, a losing Walker-led ticket would provide the best proof for the GOP base that the our guy would have won if he was more conservative argument is a myth. As much as outsiders rolled their eyes at post-election claims that Romney and John McCain werent conservative, its certainly true that they were on the more moderate side of their respective primary fields. Itd be impossible to claim that with Walker(though some will no doubt try).”
Summary from above : Walker is too conservative to beat Hillary and after he loses to her the GOP will run more moderate candidates so they can win again.
Of course Walker won three WI elections in the past four years and WI is hardly Teaxs.

Actually I think Walker would have a very good chance of beating Hillary, and I would take him over Jeb any day.

Nice try, but not quite. Walker can lose on immigration alone, unless he “evolves”, in today’s parlance.
If he does that, he’d make an acceptable substitute in the event Cruz doesn’t make it.
