When do they start manufacturing soldiers the same way?

It’s about time. For years, I’ve been wanting to fax fruitcake to friends for Christmas.

What? What is this, a joke? Why in the hell would you ever “print” food? If the ingredients are already there, then how about using the “cooking” concept or “preparation” concept?

That’s **maybe** 15 years away. Seriously.

These people truly do not understand food or digestion.
Back in the good old days, they imagined that people would eventually live on a diet of “food pills”, that were concentrated protein, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins and minerals. Today they would probably add Metamucil, as well.
But it would not work.

I ordered a 3-D pizza but it only came out 2-D. Tasted kind of flat.

If you are lacking in a nutrient, you could add that nutrient. If you were lacking protein, you could add meat to a pizza (with 3D-printing), Oleksyk added.
So nobody in the Pentagon has ever figured out how to just toss some pepperoni on the pizza, directly? (Guess there wouldn’t be any multi-billion dinero contracts for fancy new technological equipment...that way....)
