the point being that these desperadoes are not likely to submit to officer friendly without resistance, usually some kind of firearm. no other crime but drug dealing puts large cash into the hands of ruthless street lifeforms.

You make as much sense as the anti drill lefties! Oh we cant fix our energy policy by being independent. Oh we cant fix our drug war problem by ending the drug war.
We got along just fine for over 100 years without a drug war. Since the drug war started absolutely no drugs have been killed, just people.
You sound like a lefty obsessed with legalizing drugs rather than fixing the problem that you pretend to care about, and you want to piggy back onto our policing problem with a side agenda of your own, just like the lefties do.
Let’s fix the problems that we are talking about with cops first, and then you can bring up your drug agenda.

Failed “human rights policies”, and I’m a “Nazi”, that is classic.
The problem is in militarized police, the way they serve warrants, confiscations, and it goes all the way through the law enforcement food chain and the justice/legal system.
We could legalize drugs right this second, and it doesn’t change that.
Don’t hijack our efforts to fix policing and government, by turning it into yet another push for dope.
