...........I could be wrong but I don’t think this has actually happened yet.
While there are a lot of Marxists and deadbeats in NY there are a whole lot of good solid folks too and I just don’t see this law standing for long!
Bet these rules do not apply to the elite such as Bloomberg’s private army of security guards, NYC Mayor guards and NYC police force, NY Gov. and his private army of security guards, etc. If there were any investigative reporters left (other than Sharyl Attkisson) I’m sure there would be an explosive story about the abuses with these people and their lackeys.
If Bloomberg had his way, only skells would have guns. Well, actually they do because no one can get a NYC pistol permit. You cannot even have more than five rounds in a stupid .22 rifle mag.
Cuomo took the Newtown, CT horror and shoved the “un”SAFE Act up our behinds. Thank God, you are not here in Nazi New York. It is very difficult to get a full carry (outside of NYC). Cuomo is evil. Bloomberg was evil. DeBasio is an a-hole and also evil. But like Obmaa, he is also a moron. A dangerous combination.
I hate what my state has turned into. No GOP elected official has any backbone. It is a dying cesspool. I really question why I am still here. There is more to life than having almost half of income taxed and being regulated from everything to guns to transporting trees more than 50 miles intrastate to drinking a 20-ounce soda to eating fast food with lots of salt in it.
There have not been “investigative reporters” in the old media for decades. Watergate was completely agenda driven. The old media hated Nixon, and managed to pull off a media coup.
“Investigative reporter” meant going after your philisophical enemies and protecting your friends.
The new media is changing that a bit. Matt Drudge was completely off the reservation and uncontrolled, as was Andrew Brietbart. That is what we need, growth in the new media, to counter the old media that has been one side for decades.
Freerepublic is part of the new media.
people with high-value gun collections
need to think about their
personal situation.
you can always buy another Glock
And cuomo has his sights on the White House.
And if the person protests or does not hit the ground fast enough, he is put out of his misery for "resisting authority while ostensibly armed"....oh, wait...that is only OK if those who judge already consider him a creep because sometimes cops are perfectly within their rights to kill someone who doesn't deserve to die, while other causes should prohibit the cop from any sort of action.
It all gets so confusing as to whether some folks will support or protest when a cop kills a citizen.
I’ve been saying the same thing. There are 100 million gun owners. All it takes is a small % of them to say “no” while racking a shell or round into the chamber to create a situation that overwhelmes police.
And that assumes that the cops go along. I don’t think a lot of them do. Some will, but most will come down with the blue flu should the order go out. It’s one thing to take on a gang banger with a 9 or an AK, quite another to go up against a well motivated and angry country boy with a scoped hunting rifle. Look at CT earlier in the year when those confiscation letters went out. Sure, a couple bad cops got press for mouthing off, but the PDs were mainly calling the politicians a bunch of idiots and calling for calm and restraint.
