Spot on...
There are some things that you can’t ignore and some fights that you have to fight. That’s just life. And you have to accept that the consequences may not go in your favor but there are hills worth dying on to promote the morals and values we hold dear. What would you do or suggest if Obama goes through with executive amnesty? Do the Repubs make it a constitutional challenge and fight him (because I do believe he is going to do it) or do they “work with him” like McConnell and Boehnner have done in the past? Remember all the grief Cruz took when he attempted to shut down the gov. over Obamacare? Everyone said it would hurt the GOP’s chance of getting elected in the mid-terms. Well, we know how that went and we know what most think of Cruz whether they agree with him or not (man of convictions, acts on what he believes). The Dem’s will use every dirty trick they can and call every name they think will stick - but that’s what they did this time too. You deal with bullies, after you’ve tried to reason with them and it doesn’t work, by using overwhelming force. I think many people are looking for real leadership now. It’s like Rush said, people voted to stop Obama, not to work with him on his agenda. If we are ever going to push back now is the time.
It’s about strategy. Win in ‘16, then full frontal attack.
Post of the day.
One simple, clean, clear bill at a time. Bills that D Senators can override (especially on coal and Keystone).
Walk down the hill and get them all.
Reach out to blacks, the unions, and any other slave they can find on the democrats plantation and give them a meaningful role.
Immigration is the enemy of both blacks and unions.
Keep abortion legal, but send the black community out to call it what it has been - an African American holocaust. A killing of the culture in its cradle.
The only way to raise wages is to de-commoditize skilled labor. A good way to save colleges drowning in debt is to get them to work with the unions to teach non-college bound kids how to weld, be a plumber, be an electrician, BE A CODER.
Obama is going to stop himself. That much is clear. He’s a day away of accusing McConnell of stealing his strawberries. He ACTUALLY retorted to Michael Jordan’s remark about his poor golf game.
Oh, and you can bet his handlers have sawed Obola’s clubs in half. No more golf for two years. That’s going to be fun to watch. I know a lot of middle class guys locally that used to play golf, but lost their good paying jobs. They can’t afford to golf anymore.
“A lot of middle class men and women I know used to play golf, but lost their jobs and can’t afford it anymore. Once some of the 94,000,000 Americans can afford the occasional game of golf again, I expect Obama to be back out there with them. Until them, he shouldn’t be golfing. He should be working with congress to get the pile of bills on his desk signed into law.”
I’d be pleased if the GOPe managed to tackle one tenth of that. They won’t tho.
There is 26 months of trying to contain the damage coming- I don’t think we can just ‘lay-low’ until then, this guy is going to rip the country a new one if we allow it
I used to think as you are saying but all my worst expectations appear about to come thu re. a lame duck Obama- now entering a very dangerous period, and it’s going to seem like it will never end
The EPA diktats, Exec Orders- I just don’t see how we can sit on the sidelines and watch over two years of this, I expect the worst
Conservatives are already planning an effort to get rid of Boehner- if I’m dreaming I’m not the only one

I think he’s on the ropes... you can tell Ted Cruz smells blood, look at him go
Thank you kindly, and agreed in full with your comments,
very practical points on how this could work
No kidding but the election was just the beginning of the fight and there is still so much ground to recapture.
Good citizens must do so much more than vote, they must awake from their stupor and join the battle at the front lines and keep the pressure on even the wrong people to do the right thing.
Milton Friedman(1975):
I do not believe that the solution to our problem is simply to elect the right people. The important thing is to establish a political climate of opinion which will make it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing. Unless it is politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing, the right people will not do the right thing either, or if they try, they will shortly be out of office.
And Churchill:
Still, if you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.
We are at a critical juncture in history and it is time that people choose a side and go all in.
“Any ideas out there?”
Pray for lightening, meteors or other acts of God to strike.
Thank you kindly
And Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are already on it...
