The police have damaged their own reputation, but in the end you’d rather have them between you and a Ferguson mob than not. They know where their bread is buttered (taxpayers), and they know who kicks in nothing for police protection (gibsmedats). Actually not. I'm armed all the time. I'll take care of myself.
