If you store anything outside your own physical media or hard drive then it is outside your control. If nothing else, system administrators would be able to see it. Does anyone really believe a sysadmin wouldn’t take a peek at a celebrity’s account?
If you don’t want anyone to see it, keep it secured!

Jennifer Lawrence is a pretty well known actress. She’s in the “Hunger Games” series and has at least one more pending release. I don’t think she “needed the publicity.”
The series is aimed at teens. There was a time this sort of thing would be the kiss of death for an actress in this market. These days, maybe not.

Which is why so many hollywierd celebrities pose nude for Playboy? Or film gratuitous nude scenes in movies? Or arrange and pose for photos on the beach, supposedly incognito?
Celebrities have publishers whose job it is to 24x7 keep the stars in the limelight. So much as a few months off can mean the end of a career. Any publicity is good publicity to them. Any, including “Opps! I took nude photos of myself in the privacy of my own home and now they are on the Internet. Now, don’t go look, boys.”
Gimme a break.

When, exactly, was that time? Even Marilyn Monroe knew the benefits of nude photos; she was in the first issue of Playboy in 1953.
Some of them do pose either at the beginning of their career of near the end of their apex. But to say that JL needs to put out nude pictures of herself at this stage in her is silly.

Well she is in all 4 Hunger games movies. (Two of which are still to be released) And then she was in another movie called Silver Linings Playbook and in 2013 for playing that role she won 11 best actress awards for the part including The Oscar and The Golden Globe..
Before that she was nominated for about everything possible for the part she played in Winter's Bone.
She is also in the two latest Xmen movies as well as American Hustle in which she was nominated for all the big awards and won the BAFTA plus several others...
So yeah I could see where she needs to have some nekid pics on the net to get noticed...

What stage is that? She has one good movie she is known for. Is she getting any other offers? Has she been pigeon holed as a goody-two-shoes little girl (”a ‘pilgrim’ by hollywierd lingo) and now needs to be seen as a sexual vixen?
That is what publishers do. They can change an actors persona to generate movie offers.
Look at Anne Hathaway. She was known for her Disney style films and wanted to be seen as a sexual women, so she appeared in several rather nasty gang-banger films nude, plus she started appearing publicly nude, all to change her purist image.

The advantage to showing your stuff in a movie is you can use a butt double like Julia Roberts.
The fact is they typical actress has about 5 good years to make her pile then she’s too expensive and they trot out the next dish.
Anyone, especially celebrities, who take nude photos of themselves are idiots. It is too easy to steal those digital photos and you can bet that sooner or later they will get posted somewhere on the Internet.
I bet most of them have no clue whatsoever that their pics are stored on the cloud or if they do they don’t understand exactly what the cloud is...
she quickly moved on from the teen movie... she did Silver Linings Playbook, for which she won an Oscar... she also did American Hustle, for which she was nominated for an Oscar... neither of those roles were in movies geared toward teens... but i do not think she did this as a publicity stunt... she is a talented actress...

What a strange industry where people run around showing so much intimacy. No wonder they are all crazy.
I hadn’t realized she was in American Hustle. To be honest, my wife and I limit what we watch because so much of what Hollywood offers is pure garbage.
We’ll go to the theater for things like The Hunger Games, The Hobbit, etc...
Occasionally, we’ll take a chance on Redbox for other stuff.
