My wife loves fine dining. As soon as she saw your post she immediately said, "OMG, I wish WE had a Jack-In-The-Box over here!"
We are East of the Mississippi River. Hardly no Jacks...sad... :-(
Your wife and I must be soul mates!
Fortunately for me..the nearest Jack is about 30 miles away.
Since I have become a grown up (dang it) and have to have blood work done about every 6 months, being closer in proximity would send my doctor into nervous rigors when he saw my cholesterol levels if there was one closer. :) I save it for a treat.
Back in the day, when my hubby and I were a very young married couple, there was a JITB at the end of the street of the apartment complex we lived in. We ate there every other night. It was cheap. I worked at a fried chicken restaurant and got to take the left overs home for free...for the other nights.
Fried chicken and JITB tacos! And never put on any weight!. Those were the days, my friend...we thought they’d never end.
