Around here, they used to at least take them back to the jail where there was a stairway to fall down.

The cops would be no match for some of the guys I’ve met over the years. There really are some real Rambos out there.

Tommy Yancy, 32, father of two, was savagely beaten to death by five law enforcement officers during a routine traffic stop
You got that right.

They murdered that guy and that was all the time they got?
Incredible.
You know those cops in Simi Valley wailed on Rodney King pretty bad, but they didn’t, you know, KILL him.
What the hell happened in this more recent story? How the hell do you beat a guy to death over not having a license plate? And even if he did “resist” how can 5 trained men and a dog! not be able to subdue one unarmed man without killing him?

Too much trash that is null and void of truth.
To: jocon307
On Rodney King, the media has kept the public from seeing the first 13 seconds of that tape, the part where King goes for the cops throat, who then started hitting him (Powell?).

"They need to be drug tested. Especially for roids."
Bingo! We have a winner!
The gym I go to offers a special rate (near free) for LEOs.
If I were to guess, I'd say somewhere around 70-80% of the ones I see there show obvious sign of steroid abuse, not just in physical appearance, but in attitude.

What went wrong/Did the poor guy have a panic attack and the stupid cops thought he was a serious threat? If they killed him just for fun then they all belong on death row.

drug test 'em all; any drugs, convict them' em, every puckin' one.
in this case, there are no innocent LEOs..all were culpable.
if no drugs are found, dismiss them all/no pensions/nothing.
dismiss & sue everyone involved, LEOs, Supers., city and state.
no civil apologies accepted.

I thought null and void phrased the argument perfectly;
’ In a just country, there would be MANDITORY drug and alcohol testing of any officer involved in a lethal encounter with the public.
A locomotive engineer or bus driver shouldn’t have stricter rules than a cop!’

Well, at least no dogs died and the police went home safely to their families. What else can you ask for? A disturbed citizen dead without due process of law. No matter. We have to show these peasants who is in charge. Complain about this and we’ll come and get you. To protect and to serve (our Nazi government)
To: null and void
In a just country, there would be MANDITORY drug and alcohol testing of any officer involved in a lethal encounter with the public. Sent off or administered by...?
Yancy, a veteran who suffered from PTSD...
Cops sharing databases with the VA? Scratch another veteran off that waiting list!
