Bingo. Too few people are capable to draw parallels between earlier Soviet Russia and America since Clinton.
They were extremely liberal to the point of politicizing everything and total paralysis of collective will, inability to make things done.
They had full set of characters including analogues of Sandra Fluke and John Moore, they had all the social processes in place including affirmative action, class warfare, war on family and religion.
It is not surprising that tyranny has come in a few years to ‘fix’ troubles, and many people welcomed it.
No society is immune on this matter.
