I did the same thing at my Family Farm Business; I miss it since I retired and moved. Public ranges are only safe during weekdays, and then just barely.

I read your post and something hit me. I didn't know exactly what, so I kept my mouth shut. It eventually registered in my pea brain what you really meant.
Rewrite 'the BB gun' with 'the firearm', and everything makes sense. Worst invention ever. I've heard that before, I think. I did not see any BB gun mishaps here, these clips all looked, to me at least, like firearms in the hands of people who think that they're toys.
