I suspect the motivation behind common core math approach is more insidious than that. I suspect it is desigfned to differentiate kids even further, creating a larger core of kids who just give up and trun into government dependents. Evil doesn't want a human applying thought processes which will expose deception and lies.

We have a dead soul abortion defender and cheering Mormonism apologist egging her on, using such tactics on a government and abortion thread currently up at FR. She is spoutring the typical progressive talking points yet demands to be respected as pro-life. And the mormonism apologist is pretending her lies are sound reasoning. Disgusting.
