Did you ever believe you’d see a monk with a gun in hand as the poster boy for the Burmese Anti-Muslim Movement?
Prayers for our Buddhist friends in ridding Burma of that Satanic evil from their borders.
God give them the strength to deal with it.

Boy Monk with Gun
Photo and caption by Joyce Le Mesurier/National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest
At the annual Ananda Harvest Festival in Bagan, Myanmar, thousands of monks from all over Myanmar came to receive alms. While walking around the vast temple grounds, I chanced upon this boy monk who was playing with his toy gun. Even though it was only a toy gun, I found this image a disturbing juxtaposition of the peace that Buddhism embodies and the violence that guns symbolise.
Photographers are being invited to enter the contest, which ends June 30.

According to the source, this is a young monk with a toy gun, not the leader of some anti-Muslim group of Buddhists.
Fake or not, it IS true that you cannot sleep next to a mad dog , but I think we need a little more confirmation on this. The picture with added caption is on about eight sites now.
How many plane hijackings by Buddhist terrorists? NONE!
What does it take to anger a Buddhist? I don’t know, but whoever manages to has got a fight on their hands. A Buddhist monk with gun in hand is one truly angry dude. He didn’t get that way in an instant, unlike the permanently enraged muzzies.
I don’t think that is a boy and that is not a toy gun.
That is a serious man in his late 20’s or early 30’s and I get that he means exactly what he said.
Look at his feet. Look at his forearm that you can see.... not a child. Look again at his face. There is life lived there.
I’m just going by what the photographer said.

A picture of the real Ashin Mirathu
that sums it up pretty well, doesn’t it?
meanwhile, Obama is importing his Islamic pals into USA..INCLUDING NOW (OPENLY ACKNOWLEDGED!!!!) those with some terrorist affiliations or allegiances...! (really, check the recent postings for the news reports .. nobody could make this stuff up, they’d get locked up in a mental ward if they did)
He’s bringing in Muslim terrorists into USA....ain’t that just GRAND!?
(not counting, of course, the thousands more that just walk in across our open borders... the borders that Obama flatly refuses to even effectively patrol, more or less really control...)
Pictures of Ashin Wirathu, none with gun
meanwhile, O lets the Christians over there just get slaughtered, bombed, beheaded, and (at least occasionally, per the news reports) eaten
by his pals
(coming to a neighborhood near you soon... remember, he honestly told us....
“elections have consequences”)
pray for America!
Somebody sees reality....
“If someone has a gun and is trying to kill you, it would be reasonable to shoot back with your own gun.” - Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama
But he did, and does make the commentary.
The photo merely goes well with the [true] quote. As an aside, the holding of the gun with finger off trigger seems more to speak of it being real...
Buddhists kill
*see Sri Lanka or Ceylon
Tibetan intramural Buddhist sects killings
Buddhist sub states duking it out in Siam/Thailand
Whatever is the appropriate name...
Cambodia was Buddhist largely..... j think Buddhist detachment contributed frankly.....to the carnage
Sadly, PC prevents truth from being spoken so often.
It's even scarier than that. Buddhism teaches to remain free from anger, and do what is dharmic (righteous) with lovingkindness.
So what this monk is saying is recognize the threat, recognize the solution, remain perfectly calm, gaze with lovingkindess upon the target, and fire.
