France: A corrupt and despicable government led to the slaughter of the cream of the French male population at the start of WWI, for example by pitting them on horseback against mechanized German infantry.
France has never recovered. So sad...

Reminds me of the communist backed Day of Rage protests here in the US which were soon renamed Occupy Wall Street.

“With all that's going on in the world, isn’t it about time we got back to hating the French?”

I met a French anti-Semite online because we shared an interest in French genealogy. He said he was a nationalist. Ultimately, he helped me uncover how the occupation government seized my great uncle’s property and business. He said he had nothing against Jews individually, but that they corrupted the national culture. We will never be friends but we came to understand each other better.
