Born in 1941 Pasadena,Ca and lived in Eagle Rock for all of my now 72 years. Things have changed so from my early years. It was THEE PLACE to live back then....in the good ol days right after the war...
Watching it go down hill, especially the yard signs during elections ( uggg) have been heart wrenching.
My dear cousin was a Republican ( very conservative...I believe now Tea Party) ...State Senator for the Monrovia/Arcadia area and he is sickened at what has been happening not only to our state and country, but the Republican ( RINO) party.
He said he has to wait due mainly to his contract....
Unless you are an idiot or a jerk, you already have a large network of willing potential new friends waiting for you.
That’s sweet..its something I am definitely going to consider..it would be hard to leave my family of course, but if I could get a good paying(Heck even decent paying) I would definitely go..lived in CA all my life and its never been this bad
