If anyone is interested, back in 1967 there was an attempt to get MEN to wear makeup. In a scene from Rosemary’s Baby one of the male guests comes in to their party in such makeup.

I recall that he would get asked about the supposed satanic heavy metal bands of the 80s and he would laugh and tell the person that the real satanic music was something elevator muzak.

Do you mean one of the men is in drag? Or female makeup? In the movie, it’s funny how one of the characters has a pierced ear and it sends shock waves through Rosemary’s rightfully paranoid best friend.

He comes in with a girl. HE has eye shadow, lip stick, powder. Definitely not like those around him. You only get one shot of him.
Like I say, makeup companies were trying to get men to wear such things in 1967.
I’m going to take issue with their take on what Sharon Tate said about the Devil. Whether she knew it or not, she was onto something there.
