I have relatives that $100 is the difference between them eating and not eating. They all work and make just enough that they qualify for no help.
People with the amount of money all the peeps pushing or involved in Ocare have cannot even comprehend incomes like that.

Why are you thanking them? You’re paying for the whole shebang anyway...from your gross pay.
You should be up in arms YOU don’t get to decide which provider to sign-up with. You should be up in arms YOU don’t get to decide what parts/pieces matter to YOU, and pay accordingly (EG: male needing birth control!?). You should be up in arms YOU don’t get the tax benefits your employer enjoys.
When/if they drop you, do you get the $$ back? It’s because of the above, if you quit/move/fired you can’t ‘take it with you’.
I’m amazed just how easily the talk gets ‘settled down’...once one’s own ox stops getting poked. There’s rarely any ‘Hey, wait a minute...’/take it to the next level discussion.
I am thanking them because, at $920, it is pretty obvious that they are subsidizing my insurance heavily or negotiated a heck of a deal. I am grateful to my employer for my compensation package and endeavor to give them value for value.

They negotiated the best for THEIR bottom line, pure and simple. Now, until the law changes in MY direction (not my favor mind you), you damn sure I’ll be taking advantage of what is presented.
But I, by far, can do a HELL of a lot better buying for myself/family than any employer could possibly.
