Do you recall in the 1980s when Massachusetts made participation in Medicare and Medicaid a requirement for licensure?

Roger that. I was “forced” to enroll when I hit 65 or lose my SS bennies. I would much rather have had the choice to stay with my retirement insurance even though it cost me more. The coverage was better and at least the docs got paid more than medicare pays them. I couldn’t believe how little they paid out for my back surgery against what was submitted for payment. Guess that’s why the docs submitted such high amounts. Hopefully they’ll take me back since I’m having some issues again. LOL! And here I just thought they didn’t like ME. (Keep your doctor/health plan if you like them! NOT!)

Our doctor plans to retire as soon as possible.
I should have mentioned that I do not live in Virginia, but in Massachusetts.
Unfairly forcing doctors to participate in Medicaid and Medicare is inevitable. The younger generation in med school and residency overwhelmingly are leftist and will go along with it. The brainwashing is very thorough.

They are destroying the healthcare industry and they know it, this is why people and now doctors have to be forced into it.

I guess I’m in good company. Rush spent the entire week pounding on the point that this Obamacare roll-out mess was by design, and will serve to benefit the Democrats in their continued destruction of the nation. Recent history suggests that I'm correct in my assessment that this will become the law very soon.
My God. That is something I’d expect to see from the Soviet Union and China.
