Some of us said on the first Wednesday of November in 2008 that anyone who voted for the POS in the White House should be fired.
What took Miller so long?
I do. Maybe not immediately, but eventually they realize they have no hope of raises or promotions, and are getting all the dirty jobs. I can’t help myself.
Hm. This depends. Let’s consider a contrarian view for a moment...
Suppose this is a business with low paid jobs. You *could* fire the Obama-supporting employees. They will just go on the dole and get MORE benefits/purchasing power than if they were working. So, the good people who didn’t support Obamacare work harder to support layabouts who did.
OR...
Let’s the conservatives start taking from the system and let the liberals work hard to pay for conservatives to sit around. Heck - give the liberals a raise to JUST ABOVE 4x the poverty level so they don’t qualify for any Obamacare subsidy so they feel the pain.
Maybe these government largesse types should be *given* the opportunity to support the people who would NORMALLY produce and support...
From an article in the Prague newspaper by Prager Zeitungon,
The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.
I’m betting a lot of other FReepers’ workplace experience with the Obamacare roll-out is similar to mine. Our insurance people held a series of meetings last week to discuss our plan for next year, which thankfully holds the line on cost, at least for now. They then compared it to Obamacare with some pretty telling charts. The low-info twentysomethings in the room, most of whom don’t carry insurance were, to put it mildly, FREAKING STUNNED!
The innovative thing, I thought, is the company is offering a fairly bare-bones entry-level package for the currently uninsured employees which is FAR preferable (and certainly cheaper!) to what they would get under the “Affordable” Care Act. I can pretty much guarantee there will be a LOT of sign-ups!
I am not an Obama supporter, but got fired this week by a small business. Work slowdown was sited, but we just had a 20% increase to employees for healthcare. I don’t know what the increase to the employer was. I can’t help but think I would still have that job if not for all the cumulative effects of the Democrat Affordable Healthcare Mega Law.
Last night, I went out with a buddy whose wife is a two time B-HO voter. As for him, he’s a political agnostic and remains purposefully ignorant of any issue outside of sports. He has a decent job with corporate benefits, yet they are on the brink of bankruptcy. His wife is nearing a nervous breakdown. I finally had the long anticipated opportunity to ask THE question, last night.... “Soooo, how much is your insurance premium going up?” He didn’t hesitate “43%!!!”.
Them chickens is a-roostin’ right der at home.
I did that a few years ago. I set up my decent people in business on their own (and I still help a few of them with strategic decisions or with planning). As for the rest? They lost their jobs as I shut down my business, and I don’t provide references or referrals for the few Obama voters who used to work for me. We are in the middle of a major battle between good and evil, and those who support Obama are not on the side of good.
A number of business owners on this forum already have.
Those who work in gov’t offices can report on the number of BO posters seen there.
even more of them on welfare and stuff
lol
Yes! It’s about time these Obama voters got what they asked for and richly deserve. Need to downsize your company because of the Obamacare trainwreck? Layoff these low information Obama voters.
Doesn’t seem like a good plan - it puts the low-information BH voters into the wagon, where they can ride and bitch, instead of getting their act together, becoming better citizens, and helping pull.
Then again, having someone foolish enough to vote once or twice for BH would kinda make me question their judgment, so promotion opportunities would be pretty limited for those who stayed...
