This Fed crap is happening all over. Here in S UT the Feds put out the word that when you take the state highway through part of Zion NP that you will be subject to fine and arrest if you “stop to take pictures or recreate”” according to the local paper, The Spectrum. You can still drive all over the BLM lands (zillions of acres) and look, shoot, take a crap or whatever. I guess the Feds don’t have enough goons to stop you.
So who is stopping people from looking? The FBI?? Park Services? Postal workers?

While I initially scoffed a mite, I later observed a 'surprise' inspection from the ridge above the location, which looked like a drug raid going down--three large black, 4-door SUVs with tinted windows, an agent for every door, only they deployed with clipboards instead of drawn weapons (on an oil drilling location).
I have little doubt, considering the vigor with which the inspection was carried out, that the fine would have been levied...

I’m not sure why the admins changed the title to [Weather Related] when the weather has NOTHING to do with the shutdown! A bump without an article attached is at the top of the sidebar, so at least the truth is out there...
