The proof that insanity reigns in our world today: That such a bit of satire could be written. In a sane world, this article would not be poking fun at anyone; there would be no legitimate target. It would be met with a quizzical look and would leave readers wondering if the author was crazy.
Instead, several posters on this thread are asking if it is satire, or is it real.
People in this world are completely adrift.
There is a funny comedy bit on youtube where an American football coach goes to England to coach “football”.
“I’m just here to get us to the playoffs. Huh - no playoffs?! Well then, I’m just here to have more wins than losses. What? Games can end in a tie?? Well my job just got a whole lot easier!” (Funny bit, and I enjoy BOTH kinds of football.)
What about Korean football?
I mean American football in Korea. They have some “professional” teams and some university teams and the top of each play against each other in the Kimchi Bowl.

This is a parody, but the fact that it could happen says a great deal. I just hope the public schools don’t get any ideas.
Finally satire that can be recognized as such.
